Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jacobs feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

St Pierre looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Jacobs thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
St Pierre utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Jacobs has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing St Pierre to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jacobs is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - St Pierre pulls down on the head and he's put Jacobs to sleep! This one is all over!
