Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Witt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enos Erikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aaron Witt!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Enos Erikson!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erikson blocks a jab.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Erikson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Witt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Erikson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Witt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Erikson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Witt is aware though and is defending well.

That was a close round but I would say that Aaron Witt will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aaron Witt.
Well Witt has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
