Cannonball has chosen Johnny Cash - God`s Gonna Cut You Down as his entrance music. Ira Stein has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ira Stein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mr Cannonball!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannonball shoots in looking for a takedown. Stein tries to sprawl out of it but Cannonball keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stein manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A swing and a miss from Stein.
Ira Stein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cannonball takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Stein cracks Cannonball with an open hand slap.
Stein lands an overhand right.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cannonball closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Stein is trying to stand back up but Cannonball is controlling him
Stein is looking to improve his position.
Cannonball is trying to control. Stein wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Cannonball might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Stein kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stein is trying to stand back up but Cannonball is controlling him
Stein on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Stein is refusing to be controlled, as Cannonball sits in half guard.
Stein knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cannonball on the ground.
Cannonball perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mr Cannonball.
Stein dips to his left and cracks Cannonball with an uppercut!


It looks like Mr Cannonball has been cut.
Stein is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Cannonball shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stein as he jumps to the side.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stein throws a series of punches but Cannonball avoids them all with ease.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stein. Cannonball does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cannonball avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Stein connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cannonball's hands.
Stein connects with a right hand. Cannonball shakes it off.
Nice takedown defense from Stein. No joy for Cannonball on that attempt.
Ira Stein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Cannonball.
Stein thuds a left hand into Cannonball's body.
Stein catches Cannonball with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Cannonball forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ira Stein!
