The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butcher gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lion.
Butcher looks to clinch

and Lion counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lion.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Butcher looking for a sweep. Not yet Butcher, not yet.

Butcher escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lion gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Butcher has an active guard here but Lion has managed to pass into half guard.

Butcher tries to buck Lion off but Lion is having none of it.

Butcher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lion has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Butcher is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Lion yanks on the arm and Butcher is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Lion.
