Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Theo Marks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason McIntosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Theo Marks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason McIntosh!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McIntosh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Marks's waist but Marks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McIntosh off to one side.

Marks moves into range and clinches up with McIntosh.
Marks tries to land a knee to the head but McIntosh blocks with his arms.
Marks wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but McIntosh has him pressed against the cage.
McIntosh is stalling here.
McIntosh lands a shot to the body.

McIntosh pulls guard successfully.

McIntosh is looking for a triangle but Marks pushes his legs off easily.

Marks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McIntosh swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Marks controlling from the top position.
Marks might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

McIntosh isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Marks stacks McIntosh on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Marks!

Marks stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Marks is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

McIntosh shoots in and bounces Marks off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Marks working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McIntosh doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McIntosh manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McIntosh wants to pass the guard but Marks is keeping the position.

McIntosh gets to his feet. Marks looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

McIntosh shoots in and bounces Marks off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Marks striking off his back but it's not causing McIntosh any problems.
Marks wants to sweep but no luck.
McIntosh works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Marks is breathing heavily.
Marks controlling the position well.

McIntosh escapes and gets back to his feet.

Marks shoots in but McIntosh avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Marks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McIntosh pinned against the cage. McIntosh gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

McIntosh shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

McIntosh is thwarting Marks's attempts to control the position.

Marks wants to control but McIntosh is keeping him busy.

Marks wants to get back to his feet.

Jason McIntosh has got the better of the ground game so far.
McIntosh keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Well, if Marks is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

McIntosh looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
McIntosh is breathing heavily.

Marks prevents McIntosh from standing back up.
McIntosh is not content to let Marks control the position.

McIntosh manages to escape and get back to his feet!
McIntosh tries for a takedown but Marks circles away easily

and Marks counters with a nice double leg into guard.

McIntosh manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Marks manages to get himself to full guard.

Marks misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Marks could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Marks thows a left - swing and a miss!
McIntosh shoots in for a takedown but Marks shows good takedown defense.
Marks throws a series of punches but McIntosh moves out of range.

McIntosh closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

McIntosh tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

McIntosh stands up and beckons Marks to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

McIntosh checks a leg kick.
Marks fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

McIntosh feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Marks is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McIntosh is controlling him.
Marks not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Marks holds on and takes a little breather.
Marks tries to land a sweep but no joy.
McIntosh loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

McIntosh postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
McIntosh trying to stand up but can't free himself from Marks's guard.

Marks is looking to stand up but McIntosh isn't so interested in that idea.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McIntosh trying to control the position from guard on top but Marks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
A combination from Marks does no damage.
McIntosh does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
McIntosh takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

and McIntosh counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by McIntosh.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Theo Marks. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McIntosh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Marks gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
McIntosh jumps guard but Marks stands there with McIntosh around his waist. McIntosh gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Marks tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McIntosh smiles and moves away.
Marks sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jason McIntosh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well McIntosh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
