Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Asher Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Dameshek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asher Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dave Dameshek!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dameshek moves away from the strike by Lee.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dameshek looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lee missing with a left hand there. Dameshek was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Lee misses the shot to the body.
Lee leaves Dameshek with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Lee throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dameshek on the side of the head.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dameshek is defended easily by Lee.

Dameshek avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Lee shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dameshek eats them both and turns towards Lee to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Lee looks to land a combination but Dameshek avoids it well.

Dameshek closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dameshek lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Dameshek tries to free his leg and advance position but Lee is retaining full guard.
Dameshek is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dameshek on the ground.
Dameshek wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dameshek accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dameshek slips nicely into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dameshek looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dameshek wants to free his trapped foot but Lee is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Dameshek is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dameshek is trying to control the action in half guard but Lee is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dave Dameshek will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Dameshek shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lee as he avoids it easily.
Dameshek shoots in but no luck this time.
Lee throws a good cross that connects.

Dameshek closes the distance and clinches.
Dameshek has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lee after a bit of a struggle.

Lee tries to break free but Dameshek pushes him back against the cage.
Lee misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Lee tries to break the clinch but Dameshek is controlling the position.
Dameshek drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dameshek is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lee gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Lee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Asher Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dameshek avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lee throws a big shot that misses.
Dameshek looks for a takedown but Lee sprawls well.
Dameshek ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lee smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dameshek manages to avoid it.
Dameshek shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side.

Lee is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Dameshek uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lee.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee thuds his right hand into Dameshek's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Lee throws a nice looking combination but Dameshek bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dameshek avoids the body shot from Lee.
Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
