Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Medvedev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ivan Medvedev has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ivan Medvedev seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medvedev is looking to clinch.
A head kick misses from Medvedev.
Medvedev bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Medvedev keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Left hook, right uppercut from Medvedev.
Medvedev goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Medvedev lands a head kick. Cruz smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Medvedev tries to close the distance and clinch but Cruz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Medvedev plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Medvedev tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cruz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Medvedev throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Medvedev throws a head kick but Cruz moves out of range.

Cruz closes the distance and pushes Medvedev back into the cage.

Cruz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cruz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Cruz is looking to sinch up a triangle. Medvedev throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Cruz's body to avoid the submission. Cruz has instead reached around Medvedev's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Cruz arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
