Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Quentin Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and New Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cane comes to the cage accompanied by Rob Zombie - What. Quentin Cane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quentin Cane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, New Knox!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cane shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Knox defends it nicely.
Quentin Cane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch combination from Knox misses.
Knox throws a head kick that misses.
Cane fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Cane or perhaps it was just good defense by Knox which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quentin Cane. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cane feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Cane prevents Knox from getting back to his feet.
Cane working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Knox's head.
Cane is looking to work some ground and pound but Knox has wrist control.

Cane drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Cane seems to have locked his on tight now - Knox screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Cane, as he picks up the win!
