Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Alexander might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Best Around By Joe Esposito. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sean Alexander!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt throws a head kick that misses
and Alexander connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hunt slaps away a takedown attempt from Alexander, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Hunt clinches up against the cage.
Alexander tries for a takedown. No joy.
Alexander has Hunt pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hunt manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Alexander. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hunt manages to break the clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Alexander. Those never looked like landing.

Hunt drives through and clinches with Alexander against the cage.

Hunt works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Hunt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hunt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hunt postures up in Alexander's guard and throws a big left but Alexander blocks it.

Hunt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Alexander is looking to land body kicks.
Hunt scores with a sloppy right hand. Alexander should have avoided that one.

Hunt shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alexander defends it nicely.
Hunt throws a series of punches but Alexander moves out of range.
Hunt fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Hunt closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Alexander's guard.
Alexander will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Alexander shoots in looking for a takedown. Hunt tries to sprawl out of it but Alexander keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hunt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hunt fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Alexander to the ground. Hunt is now in Alexander's guard.
Alexander thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Alexander wants to sweep here but Hunt controlling him for the moment.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Alexander looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hunt is fending him off so far but Alexander persists. Nope, Hunt circles away and we're back to standing.
Hunt has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Alexander stalks Hunt and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hunt's face. Hunt staggers backwards, shaken.


It looks like Mark Hunt has been cut.

Hunt gets a takedown into half guard.
Alexander is looking to get back to full guard here but Hunt has managed to pass to side control instead.
Alexander is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sean Alexander's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
