Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kaito Saruwatari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gon Jai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saruwatari comes to the cage accompanied by Andrea Bocelli - Time To Say Goodbye. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaito Saruwatari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gon Jai!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jai scores with a nice strike.
No luck for Jai with that takedown attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jai shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Saruwatari as he jumps to the side.
Jai tries a head kick but it misses.
Saruwatari throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jai takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jai shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Saruwatari sprawls well. Saruwatari wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jai gets slowly back to his feet.
Kaito Saruwatari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gon Jai.
Jai closes the distance and clinches up with Saruwatari, looking for a takedown. Jai pushes Saruwatari against the cage but Saruwatari circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Saruwatari tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Jai tries to pull guard but Saruwatari forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Jai is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Saruwatari to keep the fight standing.
Jai jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Saruwatari walks away with a smile on his face. Jai gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jai fails with the takedown.
Jai takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

It looks like Gon Jai has been cut.

Saruwatari lands a nice shot that snaps Jai's head back.
Kaito Saruwatari is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Saruwatari lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Saruwatari throws a head kick but Jai moves out of range.
Crunch! Saruwatari slams his shin into Jai's torso.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jai shoots in for a takedown but Saruwatari shows good takedown defense.

Jai is trying desperately to land a takedown but Saruwatari is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jai.

Saruwatari lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Saruwatari creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Jai with a big uppercut! Jai tries to clinch up but Saruwatari pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Jai to the mat! Jai covers up and Saruwatari unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Kaito Saruwatari really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Torment Fightwear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
