Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between That One Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuo Watanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watanabe is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Metallica - All Nightmare Long. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watanabe ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nice shot by One Guy.
Watanabe blocks a jab.
Watanabe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
One Guy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Watanabe.
Watanabe lunges at One Guy with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by One Guy's hand.
It looks like That One Guy has been cut.
One Guy bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Watanabe's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Watanabe takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Watanabe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
One Guy is looking to clinch.
Watanabe avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
One Guy jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Watanabe lands with a nice body punch.
One Guy is breathing heavily.
Watanabe lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

One Guy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Watanabe finds it's way round the side to connect with One Guy's head.
One Guy is looking to clinch.
One Guy takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Watanabe throws a hook to the side of One Guy's head but One Guy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That One Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice body punch from Watanabe.

No joy there for Watanabe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
One Guy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Watanabe doesn't seem bothered though.

Watanabe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as One Guy throws out the jab.

Watanabe punishes One Guy's body with a nice straight punch.

Watanabe ducks under a wild hook from One Guy.

One Guy gets caught napping as Watanabe dives in and scores a takedown. One Guy manages to retain guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Watanabe lands a couple of digs.
One Guy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Watanabe on the ground.
One Guy is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Watanabe is pushing down on One Guy's leg trying to pass to half guard. One Guy is fighting to maintain full guard but Watanabe has managed to sneak the leg through.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Watanabe connects with a nice short shot to One Guy's temple.
Watanabe throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Watanabe frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Watanabe fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Watanabe lands with some vicious ground and pound - can One Guy hang on?
That One Guy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at That One Guy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
