Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tony Kazarian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kazarian comes to the cage accompanied by Limp Bizkit - My Way. On his way into the cage it seems that Tony Kazarian has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tony Kazarian seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Sanders!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Sanders misses.

Kazarian looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Kazarian with a flurry of punches that miss.

Sanders looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kazarian keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sanders's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanders controls Kazarian momentarily but Kazarian frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sanders might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kazarian kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Kazarian distracts Sanders with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Kazarian wants to control from the top but Sanders keeps moving.
Kazarian content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Kazarian working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Kazarian is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sanders is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kazarian is aware though and is defending well.
Sanders manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kazarian manages to get himself to full guard.

Kazarian wants to sweep but no luck.
Kazarian is pulling down on Sanders's head to control his posture.
Kazarian is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Sanders tries to free his leg and advance position but Kazarian is retaining full guard.
Kazarian is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kazarian works his foot free and advances to mount.
Kazarian has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kazarian wants to control the pace but Sanders is squirming around nicely.

Sanders tries to hold on but Kazarian pushes him away.
Sanders is looking to improve his position but Kazarian isn't that keen on the idea.
BOOM! Kazarian connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Kazarian prevents Sanders from getting the reversal.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kazarian has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sanders's face.
Sanders is wriggling around trying to escape.

Kazarian looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Sanders is looking to get to half guard.
Kazarian fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Kazarian lands a big shot to the head and Sanders winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Tony Kazarian!
Tony Kazarian retains his bantamweight title!
After winning the bout, Tony Kazarian thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
