Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Don Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Diego Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hall manages to avoid it.
Sanchez looks to score with a jab to the body but Hall is just out of range.
Sanchez misses with an uppercut
and Hall counters with a good, hard body kick but Sanchez shrugs it off.
Sanchez misses with a looping right.
Hall fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hall goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Sanchez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sanchez.

Hall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanchez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Diego Sanchez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Hall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Sanchez lands a really nice looking cross but Hall seems unphased.

Hall takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Sanchez smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Sanchez gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Hall prevents Sanchez from getting the reversal.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sanchez is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Hall is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sanchez has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sanchez!

I would just about give that final round to Diego Sanchez.
I think Sanchez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
