The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Hattori misses.
Tashiro looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hattori throws a head kick that misses.

Hattori feints and as Tashiro raises his hands in defense, Hattori changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hattori might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Tashiro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hattori gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hattori gets to his feet. Tashiro looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Hattori lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tashiro circles away quickly and effectively.
Kazunari Tashiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hattori throws a nice looking combination but Tashiro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tashiro fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tashiro doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hattori lets loose with a powerful body kick. Tashiro will feel that in the morning.

Hattori goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Kazunari Tashiro has been cut.
Hattori thuds a left hand into Tashiro's body.
Hattori connects with the punch.

Hattori throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tashiro was covering up waiting for the punch and Hattori finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hattori sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tashiro's guard.

Hattori looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hattori maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Tashiro could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hattori has cracked it and Tashiro is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hattori!
