Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tex Bighorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bulgelene Gossables (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tex Bighorn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tex Bighorn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bulgelene Gossables!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bighorn loads up on a big right hand but Gossables slips the punch.
Gossables lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Gossables blocks a jab.
Gossables uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bighorn.
Bighorn drops Gossables with a left and a right! Oh, Gossables is hurt - Bighorn dives into side control looking to finish!
Gossables is rocked!
It looks like Bulgelene Gossables has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gossables parries the strikes from Bighorn easily there. Bighorn is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gossables to escape.
Gossables takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Gossables is still in real trouble! Can Bighorn finish him?
Bighorn working the ground and pound but Gossables is defending the strikes.
Gossables gets back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bighorn missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Gossables is trying to get back to full guard.
Gossables seems to have recovered his senses.
Bighorn is pressing down on Gossables's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gossables is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bighorn prevents Gossables from standing back up.
Bighorn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gossables on the ground.
Bighorn thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gossables's head.

Bighorn tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gossables knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Gossables wants to improve his position but Bighorn is controlling well.
Gossables is pressing down on Bighorn's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Bighorn wants to pass the guard but Gossables is keeping the position.
Gossables throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Gossables wants to stand and escape but Bighorn is having none of it.
Bighorn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gossables swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bighorn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Bighorn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Bighorn trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bighorn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Gossables trying to control the position.
Bighorn tries to free his leg and advance position but Gossables is retaining full guard.
Gossables is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bulgelene Gossables.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gossables.
Bighorn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gossables moves out of range of the strikes.
Bighorn throws out a loose jab but Gossables uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bighorn fails to land with a series of punches.
Tex Bighorn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bighorn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gossables looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gossables fails with the takedown.
Gossables gets a double leg takedown into Bighorn's guard.
Gossables is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Bighorn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Gossables won't allow Bighorn to get back to his feet.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bulgelene Gossables hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Bighorn misses with a few strikes there.
Bighorn throws a sloppy body shot
and Gossables counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bighorn swings for the body but Gossables moves out of range.
Bighorn scores with a jab. Gossables acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gossables looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bighorn cracks Gossables on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Gossables falls backwards against the cage. Bighorn follows up with more strikes that drop Gossables to his knees. Bighorn keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Gossables! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tex Bighorn!
