Vladimirov has chosen Pelageya & Darya Moroz - Walking through a field with a horse as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matt throws a combination that misses
and Vladimirov counters with a crisp one two that drops Matt! Vladimirov thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Matt to his feet! Matt is in big trouble!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Matt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vladimirov.
Vladimirov misses with a straight left.
Vladimirov connects with a right that clearly hurt Matt. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Vladimirov proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Matt collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fedor Vladimirov!
A relieved looking Fedor Vladimirov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
