The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nsnortz misses with a head kick.

Nsnortz has Cleaver up against the cage in a clinch.
Nsnortz avoiding damage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Nsnortz prevents Cleaver from breaking the clinch.

Nsnortz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nsnortz tries to bum rush Cleaver with a series of wild strikes but Cleaver uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nice shot lands for Cleaver.
Cleaver stuffs the takedown.
Nsnortz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cleaver throws out the jab.

Nsnortz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nsnortz lands in his opponent's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Nsnortz is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Nsnortz wants to control from the top but Cleaver keeps moving.
Cleaver wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Nsnortz manages to pass to side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cleaver trying to hold on to Nsnortz's head to control him but Nsnortz postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nsnortz not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Nsnortz is controlling the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Robert Cleaver just wasn't active enough.

Nsnortz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nsnortz is taking a breather. Cleaver says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Gruntz Nsnortz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Cleaver scores with a jab.
Cleaver lands a jab to Nsnortz's midsection.
Cleaver lands an overhand right.
Nsnortz looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cleaver connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Cleaver dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cleaver connects with a body shot that sends Nsnortz's belly button to the back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robert Cleaver dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A left lands for Cleaver.

Nsnortz darts in and clinches Cleaver up against the cage.
Cleaver blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Cleaver is looking to control Nsnortz's arms but Nsnortz gets an underhook and turns him. Now Cleaver has his back to the cage.
Nsnortz keeps control of Cleaver as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Nsnortz decides to pull guard.
Cleaver knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nsnortz on the ground.
Cleaver trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Nsnortz manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Nsnortz passes into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nsnortz thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Nsnortz wants to free his trapped foot but Cleaver is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Nsnortz stands up and beckons Cleaver to join him on the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cleaver scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Nsnortz fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Cleaver's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nsnortz under the eye.
Cleaver connects with a right hand. Nsnortz shakes it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cleaver scores with a jab to the head.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nsnortz.
Nsnortz takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Nsnortz shoots in for a double leg but Cleaver sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Robert Cleaver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gruntz Nsnortz.
Nsnortz is breathing heavily.
Nsnortz throws a wild hook but Cleaver just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Nsnortz gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Cleaver raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
