Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mic has a takedown stuffed.
Whiskey keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
mic tries to close the distance and clinch up but Whiskey swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and mic counters by moving into the clinch.

mic has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Whiskey uses from the top position.
mic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Whiskey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with mic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Whiskey clinches but mic breaks the clinch

and mic counters by moving into the clinch.
Whiskey lands a nice knee to the body.
Whiskey tries to pull guard but mic won't allow it.

Whiskey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

mic shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Whiskey pinned against the cage. Whiskey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
mic is breathing heavily.
mic misses with a takedown attempt - Whiskey sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Whiskey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts mic as he jumps to the side.
Whiskey connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

mic darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
mic wants to control but Whiskey is keeping him busy.

mic wants to work for an arm triangle but Whiskey is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
mic prevents Whiskey from improving his position.

Whiskey is pressing down on mic's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Whiskey looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

mic gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Whiskey closes the distance but mic moves to the side

and mic counters with a single leg into guard. Whiskey didn't expect that.
Whiskey is pulling down on mic's head to control his posture.
Whiskey tries to land a sweep but no joy.
mic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Whiskey swivels though and keeps the full guard.

mic has gone for a leg lock! Whiskey slips out almost immediately though and dives into mic's guard.

Whiskey is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

mic pulls Whiskey in to control the position.

Whiskey avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

mic pushes Whiskey off and scrambles back to his feet.

mic throws a sloppy head kick and Whiskey moves out of range easily.

mic had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Whiskey is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. mic Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Whiskey's back instead.
mic controlling the position well here. Whiskey rolled but mic kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Whiskey turns into mic and is now in his guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Whiskey tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but mic swivels and escapes.
