Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Jaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kostya Zhuravlev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhuravlev has chosen Aria - Volja i Razum as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kostya Zhuravlev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kostya Zhuravlev!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhuravlev misses with a takedown attempt - Jaa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No luck for Zhuravlev with that takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jaa looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jaa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jaa wants it to stay on the feet.

Zhuravlev is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jaa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
