The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Madsen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Madsen throws a hook but Andre blocks it.
A solid body kick from Andre.
Madsen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Andre manages to avoid it.
Andre works the jab nicely.

It looks like Gunnar Madsen has been cut.
Andre scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Gunnar Madsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Andre lands with a kick to the ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Andre throws a series of punches but Madsen moves out of range.
Madsen tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Madsen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Andre moves away.
Madsen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Andre manages to avoid it.
Andre connects with a right hand. Madsen shakes it off.
A nice inside leg kick there by Andre. That's going to slow Madsen down.
Andre throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Andre lands a big head kick that sends Madsen tumbling to the mat! Andre takes a step backwards and waves Madsen back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Madsen is rocked!

Gunnar Madsen's cut is getting worse.
Andre connects with a solid leg kick.
Oh Madsen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Madsen is breathing heavily.
Andre misses the shot to the body.
Madsen seems to have got his legs back now.
Andre cracks a nice hook into Madsen's ribs.

The fighters circle, before Andre throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Madsen's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Andre lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
