The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brasileiro shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Silva looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Brasileiro with a poor takedown
so Silva counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Silva avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brasileiro looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Silva is defending well. Brasileiro quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Silva has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Brasileiro celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
