Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Deke Dickleson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simbato Wamasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simbato Wamasaki will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Deke Dickleson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Simbato Wamasaki!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dickleson in particular looking to stall.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Wamasaki tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dickleson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Dickleson decides to stand back up.
Dickleson shoots in looking for a takedown. Wamasaki tries to sprawl out of it but Dickleson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wamasaki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dickleson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Wamasaki will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Wamasaki is pushing Dickleson's head away, looking to escape. Dickleson manages to hold on to the position though.
Dickleson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wamasaki keeps working.

Wamasaki misses with a takedown attempt - Dickleson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Deke Dickleson wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Wamasaki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dickleson circles away quickly and effectively.

Wamasaki is trying to break the clinch but Dickleson is controlling him.
Dickleson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dickleson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wamasaki after a bit of a struggle.
Dickleson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wamasaki gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Dickleson has Wamasaki pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wamasaki manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Dickleson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Simbato Wamasaki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wamasaki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dickleson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Deke Dickleson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Dickleson tightens his grip and picks Wamasaki up, before dumping him to the ground. Wamasaki manages to land in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dickleson wants to control from the top but Wamasaki keeps moving.
Wamasaki can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dickleson controls the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Dickleson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wamasaki avoids it really well and circles away.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Dickleson loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Wamasaki scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Dickleson land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Dickleson stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Deke Dickleson!
A very excited looking Deke Dickleson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
