The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Bisping.
Michael Bisping seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bisping scores with a punch to the head.
Bisping connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Connor momentarily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bisping, as that shot connected.

Bisping bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Connor's head backwards.

Connor closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Connor is looking to take a break and control but Bisping is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bisping is trying to control Connor's posture but Connor avoids it.
Bisping really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Connor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Connor gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bisping uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Connor has time to react.
Bisping drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Connor right on the button. Connor goes down! Bisping follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Bisping gets the win via TKO!
