Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Knut Ludvigsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Alverez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ludvigsen's entrance music is Grevling I Taket. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ludvigsen throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Alverez throws out a loose jab but Ludvigsen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ludvigsen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ludvigsen throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Alverez throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ludvigsen counters with a head kick. That will keep Alverez thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Ludvigsen shoots for a takedown but Alverez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ludvigsen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Alverez finds it's way round the side to connect with Ludvigsen's head.

That was a close round but I would say that Knut Ludvigsen will probably get the nod.
That's time! Ludvigsen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Ludvigsen closes the distance and clinches up with Alverez, looking for a takedown. Ludvigsen pushes Alverez against the cage but Alverez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Alverez throws a low kick but it's checked well by Ludvigsen.
Thiago Alverez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alverez lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Oh Ludvigsen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Alverez finds Ludvigsen's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Ludvigsen flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Alverez lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Ludvigsen will be OK.
