The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paz cracks the inside of Nelson's front leg.
Paz fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Nelson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Paz.
Paz blocks a head kick by Nelson.
Paz connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nelson. Nelson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Travis Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nelson darts in trying to clinch

and Paz counters with a head kick that drops Nelson to the mat! Nelson scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters circle momentarily. Paz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Nelson is rocked!
Paz connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Nelson to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Paz!
