Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zhelyazko Velilkov!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damato connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Velilkov gets the takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Velilkov is looking to take a break and control but Damato is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Damato sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Damato is trying to stand.
Damato slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Damato wants to sweep but no luck.
Damato is working hard here to advance position.
Velilkov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Damato is keeping the position for now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Velilkov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Velilkov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Damato is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Damato has escaped and now he's on top!
Damato trying to control the position from guard on top but Velilkov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Damato avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Velilkov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Damato gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Velilkov can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Damato controls the pace.

Damato trying to control but Velilkov is working from the bottom.

Velilkov working for a triangle but Damato defends it easily.

Damato is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Velilkov has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Damato is looking to defend but Velilkov has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Damato! Velilkov pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Damato taps out and this one is all over!
