Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Buffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaiah Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Buffer counters by clinching up.

Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Buffer's waist but Buffer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.

Buffer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Buffer lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Johnson somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!

That was a close round but I would say that Bruce Buffer will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Buffer postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Johnson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Buffer, into his guard.

Isaiah Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
