Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gram Prodigy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pompeii Boomerrr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gram Prodigy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boomerrr misses with a series of wild punches.
Prodigy closes the distance but Boomerrr moves to the side

and Boomerrr counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Boomerrr.
Boomerrr lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Prodigy is breathing heavily.
Boomerrr's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Boomerrr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Prodigy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Boomerrr drops back, looking for a kneebar! Prodigy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Prodigy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Prodigy!

Boomerrr is looking for a rear naked choke here but Prodigy reverses the position brilliantly into Boomerrr's guard!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gram Prodigy.
I think Boomerrr has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
