The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King fails to land with a series of punches.
Parantainen wants to clinch
and King counters with a two punch combo.
King looks to land a combination but Parantainen avoids it well.

Parantainen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Parantainen looking for a guillotine from mount but King is having none of it.
Parantainen prevents King from getting the reversal.
Parantainen lands with some vicious ground and pound - can King hang on?

King tries to lock up and control but Parantainen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Parantainen trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Parantainen fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parantainen is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and King goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Parantainen!

In his post fight interview, Jaakko Parantainen started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
