Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lal Chhana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lal Chhana!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chhana closes the distance and pushes Henderson back into the cage.
Henderson is breathing heavily.

Henderson has clasped his hands together around Chhana's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Chhana regains half guard.
Chhana regains full guard. Nicely done.
Chhana pulls Henderson in close to prevent any damage.
Chhana wants to sweep but no luck.

Chhana uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Chhana shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chhana looks to score with a jab to the body but Henderson is just out of range.
Chhana fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chhana shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Henderson as he avoids it easily.
Dan Henderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lal Chhana.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chhana tries to clinch up.
Henderson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chhana shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Henderson pinned against the cage. Henderson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Chhana scores a takedown into full mount!
Chhana wants to control the pace but Henderson is squirming around nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Chhana working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Henderson turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Chhana off and cradles Henderson's limp body as Chhana celebrates with his corner.
