Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samson Savea!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Abadi.

Abadi rushes Savea and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Abadi working Savea over with knees to the body.
Savea can't break the clinch.
Abadi has Savea pressed against the cage, preventing Savea from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Abadi has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Savea is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Savea wants to get back to striking at distance but Abadi won't allow it.
Abadi manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Savea is trying to push Abadi away but Abadi has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Savea wants to break free but Abadi has control.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Abadi takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Abadi works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Abadi not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Abadi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Abadi fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Savea looks gassed!
Abadi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Savea as he jumps to the side.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Abadi dodges the punch combination from Savea.
Abadi looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Abadi throws a powerful right kick. Savea tried to block low but the kick was high! Savea was taken right off of his feet! Abadi jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
