The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Saan.
Saan wants to clinch.

Saan feints and as Drake raises his hands in defense, Saan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Drake controls Saan momentarily but Saan frees himself.
Saan trying to control the position from guard on top but Drake is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Drake wants to sweep here but Saan controlling him for the moment.
Saan wanted to stand there but Drake had control of the position.
Saan works over Drake with some ground and pound from guard.
Drake has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Drake on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Drake tries to get out of the position.
Drake manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Saan manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Drake drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Drake jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Saan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Drake manages to get himself to full guard.

Saan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Drake working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Saan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Drake is tightening it up a little... Saan has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Saan reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Saan taps out! Nice BJJ there by Drake!
