Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Seth Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boo Hamster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hamster's choice of entrance music: Life on Mars?. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Seth Brown!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boo Hamster!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Brown closes the distance and clinches.

Brown has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hamster is trying to keep an underhook but Brown manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Hamster flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Brown not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Hamster kicks Brown off and gets back to his feet.
Boo Hamster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hamster throws a sloppy head kick and Brown moves out of range easily.
Brown blocks a jab.
Hamster looks to clinch

and Brown counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hamster!
Hamster is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Hamster really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Brown trying to control but Hamster is having none of it.
Brown looking to control and managing it successfully.
Brown fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hamster is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Brown tries to control but Hamster wriggling away.

Hamster tries to hold on but Brown postures up.
Hamster is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Hamster is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hamster trying desperately to get to his feet.
Hamster looks gassed!
Brown content just to control the position here.
Brown has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Hamster wants to hold on but Brown pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Brown has closed the distance and engaged Hamster in a clinch.
Brown managing to block the knees to the body from Hamster.
Brown gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hamster.
Hamster tries to pull guard but Brown holds him up against the cage and eventually Hamster drops back down to his feet.

Brown manages to break the clinch.
Brown tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hamster throws a lazy head kick

and Brown counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Brown looking to pass the guard.
Brown sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hamster is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Hamster looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brown is one step ahead there.
Brown pushing down on Hamster's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Brown seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hamster does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Brown is working for a submission of some sort.
Brown lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Hamster won't allow Brown to pass to mount.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Brown lands a nice short elbow.
Hamster pushes Brown off but Brown dives into side control.

Brown stands up.
Hamster circles away from the clinch attempt.

Brown moves into range and clinches up with Hamster.
Hamster drops down looking for an ankle pick but Brown pulls his leg out and moves away.
Seth Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boo Hamster.
Left hook, right uppercut from Brown.

Brown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hamster moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hamster looks to clinch

and Brown counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown slows the pace down in half guard.
Hamster is looking to control Brown's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hamster avoid being mounted?
Hamster is looking to escape.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Brown changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hamster looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Brown is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Brown is looking to take a break and control but Hamster is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Brown working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Seth Brown overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Brown throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Hamster is trying to get back to half guard.
Hamster wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Brown taking a break here but Hamster is having none of it and regains half guard.

Brown stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hamster misses with a head kick.
Brown tries a head kick but it misses.
Hamster closes the distance looking to clinch

and Brown counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hamster!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hamster tries to lock up and control but Brown gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Brown with the ground and pound from mount.
Hamster in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Hamster regains half guard.
Brown trying to control the action but Hamster is working from the bottom.
Hamster keeping control of the position.

Hamster is in trouble now - Brown has advanced to mount!
Brown looking to finish Hamster with some ground and pound. This is bad for Hamster!
Brown landing strikes from the mount and Hamster is in trouble!
Brown pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Hamster closes the distance but Brown moves to the side

Hamster kicks off Brown and gets to his feet.
Brown scores with a punch to the head.
Horrible takedown by Brown or perhaps it was just good defense by Hamster which made him look bad.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

and Brown counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Brown lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Brown trying to control but Hamster is working from the bottom.

Hamster looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hamster looking for a sweep. Not yet Hamster, not yet.
Hamster wants to stand and escape but Brown is having none of it.

Hamster pushes Brown off and scrambles back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A head kick misses from Hamster.
Brown is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hamster can do to turn this around?
Hamster tries to clinch there but Brown circles away.
Hamster throws a head kick but Brown moves out of range.
Brown changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hamster tries to avoid it but Brown manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hamster to the ground. Hamster escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hamster lands a high kick!
Hamster tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brown paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Brown avoids the head kick by Hamster.
Brown throws a left that rocks Hamster and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Brown dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Hamster regain composure!
Hamster is still in real trouble! Can Brown finish him?

Brown thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Hamster is looking to reverse the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hamster is pushing Brown's head away, looking to escape. Brown manages to hold on to the position though.
Hamster seems to have recovered his senses.
Hamster regains half guard.
Brown throwing shots but Hamster is blocking nicely.
Hamster is trying to stand up here but Brown is controlling him well.
Brown is tying to control. Hamster wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hamster keeps control of the position for the meantime.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hamster has one foot on Brown's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Brown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brown moves in looking to clinch but Hamster pushes him off.
Hamster scores with a three punch combo!
Seth Brown is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hamster bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Brown's head backwards.


Brown is rocked!
The fight stays on the outside here - Hamster looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Oh Brown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boo Hamster is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Seth Brown had his way with Boo Hamster in that round.
That's time! Brown's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Hamster scores with a decent looking hook.
Brown seems to have got his legs back now.
Hamster slips a straight right by Brown.
A head kick by Brown - that's a beauty! Hamster is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Brown can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
