Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ice Cold Soldier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ice Cold Soldier!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams misses with a looping left.
Williams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Soldier manages to avoid it.
Williams misses with the combination.
Soldier tries to clinch up.

Soldier has managed to clinch.
Soldier tries for a takedown but Williams manages to get underhooks.
Williams is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Williams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Soldier tries to avoid it but Williams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Soldier to the ground. Soldier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Soldier lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

and Williams counters with a nice double leg into side control. Soldier won't be happy with that.
Soldier is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Williams is controlling him well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Soldier can do anything to dispel that myth.
Williams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Soldier keeps working.

Soldier tries to pull guard but Williams holds him up against the cage and eventually Soldier drops back down to his feet.
Williams's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

A close second round but Ice Cold Soldier will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Williams shoots in and drives through. Soldier sprawls well.

and Soldier counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Williams is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Oh Williams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Williams tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Soldier is looking to clinch but Williams is avoiding it.

Ice Cold Soldier seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Williams shoots in and drives through. Soldier sprawls well.

and Soldier counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Williams is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Soldier sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Soldier moves into the clinch.
Williams is trying to break the clinch but Soldier has him pressed against the cage.

Soldier breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Soldier takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Soldier tries to clinch but Williams moves away
and Williams counters with a big head kick but Soldier shrugs it off.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Soldier counters with a head kick. That will keep Williams thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Ice Cold Soldier comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Soldier has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
