The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Salonoy.
Chinghyong lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Salonoy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chinghyong throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Salonoy pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Salonoy cracks Chinghyong with a good jab.
Chinghyong throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Chinghyong.
Salonoy takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Avelino Salonoy has been cut.
A nice right hand lands inside from Chinghyong.
A head punch on the inside from Chinghyong fails to land.
Chinghyong scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Chinghyong is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Salonoy tries to stall but Chinghyong uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Chinghyong lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Salonoy is still on wobbly legs! Can Chinghyong finish him?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chinghyong lands with a left to the head.
Chinghyong tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Salonoy seems to have recovered his senses.
Chinghyong lands an elbow just above Salonoy 's eye.

Avelino Salonoy's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Chinghyong throws a punch but it's blocked by Salonoy.
Chinghyong misses with a short punch on the inside.
Chinghyong pushes off an throws an elbow but Salonoy leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Chinghyong lands a right hand.
Chinghyong creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Salonoy's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Salonoy drops to his knees and Chinghyong pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
