Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fuad Aliyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aliyev is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago shoots in but no luck this time.
Drago shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Aliyev as he avoids it easily.
Drago gets a clinch.
Drago drags the fight down to the ground.
Drago is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Aliyev has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Drago is working away from the top position though.
Drago prevents Aliyev from improving his position.
Drago wants to pass to mount but Aliyev is defending the position.
Drago passes the guard and advances to mount!
Drago is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Aliyev is in real trouble.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aliyev wants to get back to his feet.
Drago gets his hands free as Aliyev looks to control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Drago working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Drago is not going to allow Aliyev to sit and survive in this position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aliyev is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Drago gets his way!
Drago gets his hands free as Aliyev looks to control.
I really don't envy Aliyev right now.
Drago patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Drago looking to break Aliyev's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Aliyev remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Drago will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Aliyev rolls, trying to escape but Drago keeps control of the position.

Drago is trying to stick to Aliyev's back but Aliyev is turning into Drago. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Drago's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Aliyev.
Drago looking for a triangle here. Aliyev is fighting it but it looks tight! Drago pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Aliyev is tapping out - this one is all over!
