Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clancy Wiggum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thabo Kwasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kwasi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Til I collapse by Eminem. Thabo Kwasi has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kwasi tries to clinch up.
Wiggum throws a nice looking combination but Kwasi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

It looks like Thabo Kwasi has been cut.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Wiggum.

Wiggum throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Kwasi counter with a right hand.
Kwasi lands a nice looking body shot.
Wiggum throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kwasi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Kwasi closes the distance and clinches.
Wiggum tries for a takedown but Kwasi manages to get underhooks.
Wiggum jumps guard but Kwasi stands there with Wiggum around his waist. Wiggum gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Wiggum doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Wiggum lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kwasi.
Kwasi blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kwasi looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kwasi will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wiggum accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kwasi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Kwasi not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Wiggum throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Wiggum wants to get back to full guard.
Kwasi is looking to take a break and control but Wiggum is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wiggum is pressing down on Kwasi's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Kwasi is looking to stand up but Wiggum won't let him.

Kwasi drops back looking for a leg! Wiggum is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wiggum manages to kick Kwasi off! Kwasi jumps back into Wiggum's guard.
Kwasi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Wiggum looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kwasi looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Kwasi connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wiggum throws a series of punches but Kwasi avoids them all with ease.
Wiggum tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kwasi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kwasi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Wiggum lands a nice shot to the body.

Wiggum throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wiggum drops Kwasi with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kwasi looks back up at him and smiles so Wiggum waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Wiggum is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Kwasi is in big trouble! Wiggum is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Kwasi. Poor guy.
