Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Sagoth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tycho Van Braam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Braam has a takedown stuffed.

Van Braam drives through with a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Sagoth working a defensive guard but Van Braam manages to pass into side control anyway.
Sagoth is looking to regain half guard here but Van Braam keeps moving and retains side control.
Sagoth striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
You can see the frustration on Sagoth's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sagoth wants to get back to his feet.

Van Braam is working to tighten is grip on Sagoth's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Sagoth has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Van Braam is really squeezing tight and eventually Sagoth passes out! Van Braam breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

After the fight, Tycho Van Braam was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
