The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dibdilididkkbdi tries to close the distance and clinch but Tacular swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dibdilididkkbdi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tacular as he avoids it easily.
Tacular throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Dibdilididkkbdi wants to pass to mount but Tacular is defending the position.

Tacular moves in looking to clinch but Dibdilididkkbdi pushes him off.

Dibdilididkkbdi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tacular does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Tacular shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dibdilididkkbdi's guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dibdilididkkbdi has eaten all the pies!
Dibdilididkkbdi wants to control but Tacular passes easily into half guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Dibdilididkkbdi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tacular sprawls well initially but Dibdilididkkbdi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dibdilididkkbdi is taking a breather. Tacular says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
