The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jakovlev throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Spider's waist but Spider gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jakovlev off to one side.
Spider scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Spider tries to clinch up but Jakovlev circles away and keeps his distance.

Spider moves into the clinch successfully.
Jakovlev wants to take the fight to the mat but Spider manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Spider misses with a punch on the inside.
Spider lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jakovlev backwards.
Spider lands an uppercut.
Jakovlev has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Spider avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Rinky Spider has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Petr Jakovlev.
Jakovlev goes for a takedown attempt but Spider pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Spider moves out of range of the strikes.
Spider bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Jakovlev looks gassed!

Jakovlev misses with a takedown attempt
and Spider counters with a good low kick that Jakovlev was not able to check.

That kick from Spider tenderised Jakovlev's leg. Jakovlev is trying to keep his angry face on.
Spider fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jakovlev.
A solid leg kick lands there for Spider.
Spider scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spider lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jakovlev has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Spider finds it's way round the side to connect with Jakovlev's head.

It looks like Petr Jakovlev has been cut.

Spider lands a big head kick that sends Jakovlev tumbling to the mat! Spider takes a step backwards and waves Jakovlev back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Spider connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Spider lands with a thumping leg kick.
Spider lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Spider connects with an inside leg kick.
Spider buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Look low, kick high! Spider uses the oldest trick in the book to send Jakovlev tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Spider is absolutely delighted - when Jakovlev wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
