Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leifur Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Alekseev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le comes into the arena with Dying In White - Jucifer blaring out of the sound system. Alekseev is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Imperium. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Le lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Alekseev has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Alekseev and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Alekseev fails with a takedown attempt.
Le throws a lazy right hand but Alekseev sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Alekseev shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Oleg Alekseev has been cut.
Le throws a shot from downtown. Alekseev moves away and avoids it.
Le lands a jab.
Alekseev forces Le back against the cage and clinches.
Le breaks the clinch.
Le digs a good hook to Alekseev's body.

Alekseev looks for a takedown but Le sprawls well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Alekseev tries to buck Le off but Le is having none of it.
Le tries to move into full mount but can't pass Alekseev's legs.

Le is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Alekseev tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Le wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Le looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Le throws an elbow but Alekseev slips to the side and avoids it well.

Alekseev is trying to escape the position but Le is controlling the position.
Le is looking to take a break and control but Alekseev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Le wants to control for a moment but Alekseev uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Le lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Alekseev backwards.

Le tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Alekseev's elbow.

Le connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Alekseev momentarily.
Nice straight punches there by Le. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Le.

Le is looking to slow Alekseev down with leg kicks.
Alekseev shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Le as he jumps to the side.
Le has taken the fight to the clinch.

Alekseev drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Le gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A short body shot lands from Le as the two fighters clinch.
Le stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Le is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Le tries to throw a body punch but Alekseev avoids it by throwing Le back against the cage.

Le swings wildly with an uppercut but Alekseev uses good head movement to avoid it.

With the fighters up against the cage, Le throws an elbow but misses.
Alekseev is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Le is defending well.
Le blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Le misses with a short punch on the inside.
Le prevents the takedown attempt.

Le throws an elbow but it misses.
Le escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Alekseev is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Le.
Le lands a big right hand that sends Alekseev crashing to the mat! Le stays standing though and waves Alekseev back to his feet!
