The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Karelin or perhaps it was just good defense by Baxter which made him look bad.
Karelin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Karelin.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Karelin.
Brian Baxter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Karelin.
A shot to the liver by Baxter. Beautiful body shot.
Baxter drops Karelin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Karelin looks back up at him and smiles so Baxter waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karelin shoots in but no luck this time.
Baxter darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Karelin is rocked!
Karelin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Karelin is still on wobbly legs! Can Baxter finish him?
Baxter lands with a big right hook that stumbles Karelin - he's out on his feet here! Baxter follows up with another monster hook that separates Karelin from consciousness! Karelin falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Baxter stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Brian Baxter!
