The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abott shoots in but no luck this time.
Abott on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Tank Abott has been cut.
Abott is looking to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Abott looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Abott with a poor takedown

and Halder counters by moving into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Abott's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Abott tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tank Abott. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Halder lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Halder works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Abott is breathing heavily.
Halder scores a nice knee to the body.

Halder turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Halder in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Check out the look on Halder's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Halder lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Abott down.
Halder is staying tight to Abott's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Halder scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Abott is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Halder can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
