The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mora takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Thompson lands a slapping body shot.
Mora checks a low kick from Thompson.
Mora shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Nice takedown defense from Thompson. No joy for Mora on that attempt.

Johnny Thompson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hornink Mora.
Mora misses with a takedown attempt - Thompson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Thompson punishes Mora's body with a nice straight punch.
Thompson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Thompson.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
