Hopkins is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Coming home -Dirty money. Alex Hopkins has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Elijah Hoffman's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins scores with a punch to the head.
Hoffman misses with a low kick.
Hopkins misses with an uppercut.
Hoffman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hoffman blocks a jab.
Hopkins lands with an uppercut that bounces Hoffman off the cage and back into range.
Hoffman misses with a series of wild punches.
Hopkins throws a lazy right hand but Hoffman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hoffman misses with an uppercut. Hopkins saw that one coming.
Hoffman fails to land with a series of punches.
Hopkins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hoffman sprawls well. Hoffman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hopkins gets slowly back to his feet.
Elijah Hoffman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hopkins misses with a wild combination.
Hoffman misses with a straight left.
Hopkins slips under a jab from Hoffman.
Hoffman rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hopkins counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hoffman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hopkins connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hopkins lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hoffman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hoffman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Nice sprawl there from Hopkins as Hoffman shoots in.
Hoffman throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Hoffman scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hopkins in his tracks.
Hopkins lands the left hand.
Hoffman slips under a jab from Hopkins.
Left hook, right uppercut from Hoffman.
Hopkins lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hoffman will feel that in the morning.
Hopkins ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hoffman swings for the body but Hopkins moves out of range.
Hoffman takes a swing at Hopkins's ribcage but misses.
Hoffman thows a body shot but no joy.
Hopkins fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hoffman on the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hopkins shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hoffman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Hoffman is rocked!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hopkins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hoffman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hoffman wants to sweep but no luck.
Hopkins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hoffman looking for a sweep. Not yet Hoffman, not yet.
Hopkins stands and throws Hoffman's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Hopkins is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hoffman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Hopkins in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Hoffman is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
