The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frazier throws a hook but Eveans blocks it.
Eveans dodges the punch combination from Frazier.
Frazier fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Eveans looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Frazier scores with a nice right hand.
Eveans moves forwards but Frazier connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Frazier lands a nice shot that snaps Eveans's head back.
Frazier misses with a hook
and Eveans counters with a head kick. That will keep Frazier thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Eveans takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Joe Frazier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
