The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barnes lands with an uppercut that bounces Vonny off the ropes and back into range.
Vonny throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Barnes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Barnes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vonny looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Barnes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Vonny cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Vonny misses the shot to the body.
Vonny is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Barnes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Barnes throws a front kick aimed at Vonny's knee but Vonny avoids it well.

Vonny misses with a few strikes there.
Vonny lands with an uppercut that bounces Barnes off the ropes and back into range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Barnes switches off momentarily and Vonny cracks him with a monster right hand! Barnes topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Vonny dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Vonny!
