Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mibon Rapthlaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rama Gupta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rama Gupta will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rapthlaka misses the jab.
Gupta closes the distance but Rapthlaka moves to the side
and Rapthlaka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gupta tries to clinch but Rapthlaka is having none of it.
Gupta jabs at Rapthlaka's body.
Rapthlaka misses the shot to the body.
Rapthlaka darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Still in half guard, Rapthlaka seems content to control.
Rapthlaka escapes and gets back to his feet.
Gupta fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rapthlaka, pushing him back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rapthlaka blocks an elbow strike.

Gupta looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Gupta wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Gupta wants to break free but Rapthlaka has control.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gupta.
Rapthlaka has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Gupta regains guard immediately.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rapthlaka's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well, if Rapthlaka is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Rapthlaka is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rapthlaka avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rapthlaka shoots in and gets a takedown into Gupta's guard.
Gupta wants to stand and escape but Rapthlaka is having none of it.
Gupta looks gassed!
Rapthlaka drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Rapthlaka seems to have locked his on tight now - Gupta screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Rapthlaka, as he picks up the win!
