Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stoney McCaned (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grigoriy Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rasputin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kiss with a fist. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Grigoriy Rasputin!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCaned throws a hook to the side of Rasputin's head but Rasputin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A jab from Rasputin misses.
McCaned keeps the fight on the outside.
McCaned lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rasputin circles away quickly and effectively.

Rasputin shoots in and gets a takedown into McCaned's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Rasputin wants to pass the guard but McCaned is keeping the position.
McCaned bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rasputin's guard.

Rasputin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McCaned defends it easily.
Rasputin wants to sweep but no luck.

McCaned trying to control the position from guard on top but Rasputin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McCaned throws a big right hand that misses.
McCaned wanted to stand there but Rasputin had control of the position.
McCaned is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
McCaned pushes down on Rasputin's leg and manages to get into half guard.
McCaned tries to pass to full mount but Rasputin defends it.

Rasputin trying to control but McCaned postures up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McCaned in particular looking to stall.
McCaned has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rasputin keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

McCaned controlling the pace for now.
McCaned trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rasputin is wriggling around trying to escape.
McCaned controlling the position easily from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rasputin sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Rasputin moves into full guard.

Rasputin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McCaned gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
McCaned seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rasputin working for a triangle but McCaned defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Stoney McCaned will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

McCaned misses with an uppercut.
McCaned misses with the body kick
letting Rasputin counter with a right hand.
Rasputin delivers a nice body kick.
Rasputin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McCaned takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Rasputin lands a head kick. McCaned smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
McCaned just misses with a punch to the body.
Rasputin misses with a wild body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McCaned stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rasputin.
Rasputin shoots in looking for a takedown. McCaned tries to sprawl out of it but Rasputin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCaned manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McCaned lands a jab to the head.
Rasputin walks into a stiff left hand from McCaned.
A head kick misses from Rasputin.
McCaned dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McCaned thuds his right hand into Rasputin's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Rasputin throws a nice outside leg kick.

Rasputin checks a leg kick nicely.
McCaned moves out of range of the leg kick from Rasputin.
A punch lands to the side of Rasputin 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Rasputin moves away from the strike by McCaned.
McCaned throws a predictable looking body shot

and Rasputin counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Rasputin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Rasputin is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, McCaned has managed to free his arm - good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McCaned trying to control but Rasputin postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rasputin wants to free his trapped foot but McCaned is holding on for dear life with his legs.
McCaned wants to control but Rasputin is keeping busy and won't allow it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Stoney McCaned.
Rasputin throws out a loose jab but McCaned uses good head movement to avoid it.
McCaned moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stoney McCaned dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Rasputin closes the distance and clinches up with McCaned, looking for a takedown. Rasputin pushes McCaned against the cage but McCaned circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
McCaned throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McCaned throws a shot to the body.
McCaned lands a slapping body shot.
Rasputin's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McCaned connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rasputin scrambles back to his feet.
Rasputin on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Stoney McCaned is winning the standup battle so far.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McCaned throws a series of punches but Rasputin moves out of range.
Rasputin checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
McCaned lands a body shot.
McCaned lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Rasputin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big left from McCaned misses.
McCaned stuns Rasputin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
McCaned throws a leg kick but Rasputin moved away.
McCaned fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rasputin is out of range.
McCaned cracks Rasputin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Stoney McCaned is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McCaned lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Rasputin out cold! Rasputin is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
