Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Funkyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steve Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vinnie Funkyama!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funkyama tries to bum rush Austin with a series of wild strikes but Austin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Funkyama takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Austin takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Funkyama pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Austin tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Funkyama counters with a slapping leg kick.
Austin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Austin swinging wildly here.
Funkyama throws a nice outside leg kick.
Austin is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Funkyama lands a jab to the head.
It looks like Steve Austin has been cut.
Funkyama scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Funkyama feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Austin's calf.
Funkyama pushes Austin away with a front kick.
Nice body kick from Funkyama.
Funkyama jabs Austin right on the nose. Austin blinks but takes it well.
Funkyama lets loose with a powerful body kick. Austin will feel that in the morning.
Austin slips a jab and a cross from Funkyama.
Austin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Austin takes a kick to the side of the head.
Funkyama cracks Austin with a hook to the temple - Austin is on wobbly legs here! Funkyama swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Austin falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Funkyama wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Vinnie Funkyama!
